This week’s Five Minute Friday prompt is: STUCK

There were countless times, along my ten year journey, through the wilderness in the making of my calling when I felt unequivocally STUCK, along with feeling stranded and abandoned too.

Here’s what I learned, and what I know to be true. We are never STUCK, because God fluid, He is timeless, and most importantly, He’s always working and moving behind the scenes, in the background, from His heavenly place.

STUCK is a paralytic feeling that seeks to orchestrate our demise. It’s a booby trap on the minefield of  our mind. It’s a fallacy, and illusion. Sure, there are times when things in the natural slow down, but we’re never STUCK in one place. Because, God’s Word instructs differently.

It was Psalm 23 that broke the yoke, and shattered the fallacy of being STUCK. “Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death”. You see, we’re all journeying through, all seasons, every circumstance, to the other side.  The Holy Spirit illuminated this truth for me, just as seasons don’t last always, we too are on the same cycle.

God instructs us to be confident that he who began a good work will complete it. Philippians 1:6. He is faithful, loving, and trustworthy. He promises to never leave us or forsake us. If He didn’t leave us STUCK in sin, why would He leave us STUCK in anything else.

Have you ever felt STUCK? What did you learn?

Good words. I enjoyed your five minutes of writing. That last line – amen to that. Not stuck – just journeying through. Linked up nearby at FMF

“If He didn’t leave us stuck in sin why would He leave us stuck in anything?” Brilliant. Thank you for the encouragement today. Visiting you from FMF.
