Believing in Who You Are
Day 19: WHO
I believe, at varying times in life, everyone has questioned the meaning of their existence. Trials come to teach us, but there are times when we feel torn down, to the core of our being. It’s during these times, and always, that we must hold tight to God’s truth.
In order to believe in who you are, you must first believe in the One who created you, the God of Creation, the Great I am. Also, you must believe in the One who saved you life, Jesus Christ.
3 truths that will always keep us planted on solid ground Every. Single. Time.
Believe. Know. Love.
- Believe in who you are because you are Chosen.
Believing that you are chosen establishes your identity, your self-worth. Knowing this truth establishes your values in life.
He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love Ephesians 1:4
- Believe in who you are because God wants to establish a personal relationship with you.
Through the process of developing a relationship with God you will discover yourself. You’re approved.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument”. Jeremiah 1:5
- Believing and knowing that you are Loved first, without conditions, allows you to Love in return.
“We love because God loved us first”. John 4:19
Q: Do you believe who you are?
This is so true. Thanks so much for sharing Joan. A good reminder for all of us as we journey through life here on earth before we meet him in Eternity. 🙏🏼
